‘Liaison’ Trailer: Eva Green And Vincent Cassel Lead Apple’s Political Thriller Series

Eva Green and Vincent Cassel. I feel like these two are joined at the hip, but in truth, they haven’t really done anything together before. That’s thankfully about to change, with a pair of Three Musketeers films opening in France, while stateside they’ll star in Apple’s first French and English-language series, Liaison.

The thriller series stars the César Award-winning Cassel and BAFTA Award winner Green as two people who must overcome their entangled, complex pasts to prevent a dire threat to the future.

Here’s the synopsis: “Liaison” is a high-stakes, contemporary thriller exploring how the mistakes of our past have the potential to destroy our future, combining action with an unpredictable, multi-layered plot where “espionage and political intrigue play out against a story of passionate and enduring love.

Peter Mullan, Gérard Lanvin, Daniel Francis, Stanislas Merhar, Iréne Jacob, Laëtitia Eido, Eriq Ebouaney, Bukky Bakray, and Thierry Frémont co-star. Liaison was created by Virginie Brac (Engrenages) with Predator 2 director Stephen Hopkins helming all of the season’s episodes.

Liaison hits Apple TV+ on February 24th with new episodes debuting each week.
