‘Acidman’ Trailer: Thomas Haden Church And Dianna Agron Seek Intelligent Life In ‘Paddleton’ Director’s Sci-Fi Drama

Acidman is a father-daughter drama that’s a bit different from the norm. For one thing, it has a quirky sci-fi element to it. But second, it’s the rare opportunity to see Spider-Man: No Way Home actor Thomas Haden Church in a lead role, joined by Glee star Dianna Agron.

Directed and co-written by Alex Lehmann, Acidman centers on Maggie, who has traveled over 2000 miles to find her estranged father Lloyd living off-the-grid in the Oregon woods where he can indulge in his obsession with UFOs. Together, they begin to form a bond while attempting to make first contact with extraterrestrials.

Lehmann recently directed the terrific and criminally underseen friendship drama Paddleton. He co-wrote the Acidman script with Chris Dowling. The film also stars Sameerah Luqmaan-Harris.

Acidman opens in theaters and VOD on March 31st.
