‘Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie’ Trailer Has The TMNT Fighting A Krang Invasion

Over the course of two seasons on Nickelodeon, Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles overcame fan outrage over the weird, hyper-stylized animation to become a popular show with the characters’ die-hard audience. And now after a couple of years away, the mean green team are back with Netflix’s Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, which finds the TMNT taking on an alien invasion.

The new film finds Casey Jones going back in time to warn the Turtles of the present about an impending alien invasion by the Krangs. In the process of fighting back, the team loses their magic powers, but continue to fight alongside Splinter and April O’Neill to prevent Casey’s future from becoming a reality.

Ben Schwartz, Brandon Mychal Smith, Omar Benson Miller, and Josh Brenner return to voice Leonardo Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello, respectively. They’re joined by the returning Kat Graham as April O’Neill, and Eric Bauza as Splinter. Haley Joel Osment, Rhys Darby, and John Michael Higgins have roles, as well.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie hits Netflix on August 5th.
