‘Scream 6’ Adds Liana Liberato, Jack Champion, And More As Likely Ghostface Victims

So Neve Campbell has decided to sit out Scream 6, and yes, that’s a very big blow to the horror franchise she was a huge part of. But the best way to do it is just to put more victims characters on the screen that fans can connect with. Paramount is doing exactly that with a cast of rising stars that includes four new additions.

Deadline reports Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda and Josh Segarra have joined Scream 6. Champion is featured in James Cameron’s upcoming Avatar sequels, so he’s definitely an actor on the move. Liberato is probably the best known of the bunch for her performance in the hilarious comedy Banana Split and thriller The Beach House. Nekoda has a role in Disney+ series Sneakerella, while Segarra appears in Marvel’s She-Hulk.

They join a cast led by Melissa Berrara, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett return to direct, along with screenwriters James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.

This is a lot of cast turnover, but there’s a storyline reason for it this time. The survivors of the previous Scream have left Woodsboro for a new life elsewhere. How does the Ghostface find them? We’ll just have to wait and see on March 31st 2023.
