‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Dates Revealed, Final Season 5 Confirmed

It’s been three years since we last saw the residents of Hawkins, Indiana, but now we know when Stranger Things season 4 will finally arrive. The fourth season will be massive, and the Duffer Brothers have chosen to break it up into two separate volumes, one releasing on May 27th and the second on July 1st.

As we’ve known all along, the Duffers had a definite destination in mind for Stranger Things. The siblings have confirmed that season five will be the last.

“Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but–as you’ll soon see for yourselves–we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; season 5 will be the last.”

And while season five will be the series’ conclusion, the Duffers can’t help but tease further adventures set in the Stranger Things universe…

“There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes,” the Duffer brothers added.
