Master Chief Will Return As ‘Halo’ Season 2 Has Already Been Confirmed

Halo‘s first season doesn’t arrive on Paramount+ for another six weeks or so, and yet we already know Master Chief has been recruited for another. Paramount announced a second season of their anticipated Halo series, based on the hit shooter video games, during the recent investor presentation.

While it wasn’t confirmed, chances are Pablo Schreiber will return as Master Chief, with Jen Taylor as the voice of Cortana, and whichever characters survive the first season.

There will be some changes, however. Showrunner Kyle Kane will exit the series at the end of season 1, to be replaced by David Wiener, known for the short-lived NBC show Brave New World.

Halo will hit Paramount+ on March 24th.
