‘Star Trek: Picard’ Season 2 Trailer Reveals March Release Date On Paramount+

The greatest captain of the Starship Enterprise is back for the second season of his solo series! Yes, I meant Picard. No, there isn’t a Sisko series yet but a guy can hope.

Yesterday was officially Star Trek Day (I forgot about it, too) and with it came the unveiling of the trailer for Picard season two. Patrick Stewart is back in the captain’s chair, joined by Alison Pill, Brent Spiner, Isa Briones, John de Lancie, Harry Treadaway, Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, Evan Evagora, Jeri Ryan, and Orla Brady.

This was all part of an unprecedented show of Star Trek power yesterday by Paramount+, in which they revealed the 2022 schedule for the entire franchise. Joining Picard is the second half of Star Trek Discovery‘s fourth season, the conclusion of Star Trek: Prodigy season one, the long-awaited debut of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Star Trek: Lower Decks season three.

Star Trek has been the centerpiece of Paramount+ and the streamer isn’t going to slack on that in the least. Can’t really blame them.

Star Trek: Picard season two hits Paramount+ on March 3rd.
