Ryan Gosling To Play A Stuntman In New Film From ‘Atomic Blonde’ Director David Leitch

Ryan Gosling has a lot of stuff lined up, from Blumhouse’s The Wolfman to an astronaut film from Phil Lord and Chris Miller, to the Russo Brothers’ big-budget The Gray Man. But we haven’t actually seen him in a feature since 2018’s First Man, so Gosling is making up for lost time by adding one more project that will team him up with Atomic Blonde director David Leitch.

Deadline reports Gosling will star as a stuntman in an untitled from Leitch, who himself is a former stuntman. Other details are scarce, but the film is being set up at Universal and has Drew Pearce, who worked with Leitch on Hobbs & Shaw, as screenwriter.

Leitch is best known for all of his over-the-top action flicks, including John Wick and Deadpool 2. It’ll be interesting to see what he can come up with for Gosling, and if he’ll have the actor pulling off some of his old stunts.
