“From the studio that brought you Longlegs and Weapons.”
NEON is really leaning into its recent horror successes from Osgood Perkins and Zach Cregger. The studio’s next supernatural horror, Hokum, looks as if it might’ve come from either filmmaker. However, it’s from director Damian McCarthy, who scored an indie hit last year with Oddity.
Severance actor Adam Scott plays a novelist who begins investigating tales of an ancient witch while at a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes. SURPRISE!! Things don’t go down so well.
