‘Jingle Bell Heist’ Trailer: Olivia Holt’s Holiday Heist Rom-Com Hits Netflix In November

From Valentine’s Day murder to Christmas thievery, Olivia Holt has the market cornered on holiday-themed genre flicks this year. Following the horror film Heart Eyes, Holt will be seen next in the yuletide rom-com Jingle Bell Heist, and it looks as if she’ll be stealing the heart of Connor Swindells.

Holt stars with Sex Education‘s Swindells in Jingle Bell Heist, about a pair of thieves with designs on robbing the same department store on Christmas Eve. They’re forced to forge an uneasy alliance filled with, you guessed it, romantic tension.

Also in the cast are Lucy Punch, Peter Serafinowicz, and Poppy Drayton.

The film is directed by Michael Fimognari, who directed two of the three To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before rom-coms for Netflix. He’s also well known as a favorite cinematographer for Mike Flanagan. Bridgerton writer Abby McDonald wrote the screenplay.

SYNOPSIS: Sophia (Olivia Holt), a sharp-witted retail worker, and Nick (Connor Swindells), a down-on-his-luck repairman, are small-time thieves with their eyes on the same Christmas Eve score: robbing London’s most notorious department store. Forced into an uneasy alliance, as secrets surface and feelings for each other deepen, Sophia and Nick put their relationship and the heist in jeopardy.

So the Netflix connections run deep, and it’s no surprise that Jingle Bell Heist will hit the streamer on November 26th.
