If you could choose one person to be with forever in the afterlife, who would you choose? Would it be the one you spent most of your life with? Or maybe someone from your past who you shared a special connection with? That’s the question facing Elizabeth Olsen in the fantasy rom-com, Eternity, which A24 will release into theaters this November.
Directed by David Freyne, Eternity has a stellar cast from top to bottom. Olsen is joined by Miles Teller and Callum Turner (Green Room) as the two men in her life, one of whom she must choose to spend eternity with. Also in the cast are Da’Vine Joy Randolph, John Early, and Olga Merediz.
SYNOPSIS: In an afterlife where souls have one week to decide where to spend eternity, Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) is faced with the impossible choice between the man she spent her life with (Miles Teller) and her first love (Callum Turner), who died young and has waited decades for her to arrive.
Eternity will have its world premiere at TIFF this September. I’m intrigued by this trailer, so look for me to have a review shortly thereafter.
