Late last year, we learned that Prey director Dan Trachtenberg had two Predator sequels on the way. One was Predator: Badlands, a live-action film that we knew was on the way for late this year. The other was kept a secret, but we learned it would be arriving first. Now we know that film is Predator: Killer of Killers, an animated film arriving exclusively on Hulu on June 6th.
Set in the Predator universe, the film is an anthology following three fierce human warriors across history: a ninja, a Viking raider, and a WWII pilot as they become prey to the ultimate alien hunter.
Trachtenberg directed Predator: Killer of Killers from a script by Micho Robert Rutare. The duo also came up with the story.
SYNOPSIS:The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent – the ultimate killer of killers.
Trachtenberg’s next film, Predator: Badlands, will arrive in theaters on November 7th.
