Boots Riley’s ‘I Love Boosters’ Adds Eiza González, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, And Will Poulter

After too long of a wait, Boots Riley is finally following up his breakthrough film, Sorry to Bother You. A few weeks ago we learned about I Love Boosters, and the phenomenal cast that Riley was starting to put together. Well, today NEON has revealed that it’s even better than we thought as the second round of casting is just as good as the first.

Eiza González, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, and Will Poulter are the latest to join the I Love Boosters cast. They join the previously announced Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, LaKeith Stanfield, and Demi Moore. The story follows “a ring of enterprising boosters (aka shoplifters, equal opportunists), who take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven.” Further plot details are being kept a mystery for now.

Gonzalez has become a Guy Ritchie favorite of late, starring in his Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and landing roles in Ritchie’s upcoming films Fountain of Youth and In the Grey. Paige has kept busy appearing in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F and the recent action-comedy Brothers. Poulter has turned up in multiple episodes of The Bear, plus Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Liu recently starred in the Prime Video comedy Space Cadet.
