‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ Trailer: Prime Video’s ‘Citadel’ Spinoff Takes The Action To India

Prime Video is determined to make it Citadel franchise happen. The first series, led by Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra, kinda came and went without much buzz. But they were already committed to expanding the story to other international locations, such as the recent Italian spinoff Citadel: Diana. And now the action moves to India with Citadel: Honey Bunny, featuring two of the biggest stars in all of Bollywood.

As seen in the trailer, Citadel: Honey Bunny follows a stuntman named Bunny who hires a struggling actress, Honey, for a side mission that spins them both into a dangerous game of espionage. Years later, they must reunite and take out more bad guys to protect their daughter.

The series is directed by Raj and DK, and stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Also in the cast are Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar.

Joe and Anthony Russo are aboard as exec-producers.  The previous series, Citadel: Diana, just debuted last week.

SYNOPSIS: When stuntman Bunny recruits struggling actress Honey for a side gig, they are hurled into a high-stakes world of action, espionage and betrayal. Years later, as their dangerous past catches up, the estranged Honey and Bunny must reunite and fight to protect their young daughter Nadia.

Citadel: Honey Bunny hits Prime Video on November 7th, so they aren’t wasting any time.
