‘Wolfs’ Trailer: Jon Watts’ Crime Comedy With Brad Pitt & George Clooney Opens Next Month

Just days after Apple greenlit a sequel to Jon Watts’ crime comedy Wolfs, the studio has decided it might be a good idea to remind people of the film’s release next month. Brad Pitt and George Clooney lead as a pair of lone wolf fixers who are forced to work together when they’re hired for the same job.

Watts directed and wrote the script. He’s a busy guy, as he also created the upcoming Star Wars series, Skeleton Crew. Pitt and Clooney, they know one another pretty well already from the Oceans franchise. The comedic chemistry looks pretty easy between the two A-listers.

Austin Abrams, Amy Ryan, Poorna Jagannathan, Richard Kind and Zlatko Burić co-star.

Apple has shown confidence in Wolfs by giving it a week-long theatrical run rather than having it as a streaming exclusive. Makes sense considering their investment for the long haul.

Wolfs opens in theaters on September 20th, then heads to Apple TV+ on September 27th.

SYNOPSIS: George Clooney and Brad Pitt reunite for the action comedy WOLFS. Clooney plays a professional fixer hired to cover up a high profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two “lone wolves” are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected.
