Sorry Swifties, Taylor Swift Is Reportedly Not In ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’

Okay, Swifties, we get it. You REALLY want your girl to be in an X-Men movie. Ever since X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016 the rumors of Taylor Swift showing up, usually as Dazzler, began swirling. Then they popped up again with the release of X-Men: Dark Phoenix, and have reemerged as we near Deadpool & Wolverine. But for all of her fans’ buying power, they couldn’t buy their girl a spot in Marvel’s anticipated summer blockbuster.

According to EW, Taylor Swift is not in Deadpool & Wolverine. Period. There’s really nothing else to add. She ain’t in it. She’s not under a Lady Deadpool mask or hiding behind Dazzler’s disco strobe light.

But hey, why should anyone believe a report like this? Marvel is notoriously secretive, and it’s hard to trust anybody when Andrew Garfield lied for months that he wouldn’t be in Spider-Man: No Way Home. So who knows? Maybe Swift is there, but if she is, I hope she’s playing somebody none us could expect. Like Feral or Lady Sinister.

Well, Lady Deadpool might actually be in the film, based on the most recent teaser. Deadpool & Wolverine opens in theaters on July 26th. As for Swift, doesn’t she have a movie to direct or is that no longer happening?
