‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ Trailer Has Lupita Nyong’o And Joseph Quinn Staying Quiet To Stay Alive

Paramount Pictures continues to have big plans for A Quiet Place. The franchise is only six years old and growing, with a third film on the way from director John Krasinski, and the prequel spinoff A Quiet Place: Day One from Pig director Michael Sarnoski. If your name ends in ‘ski’, line up to get your own A Quiet Place movie, too.

A new trailer for ‘Day One’ has arrived, taking us back to the beginning of the alien invasion. We know the creatures hunt their prey through sound, but this goes back to when people had no clue how to survive and were essentially helpless. How that impacts the people of a big city, rather than the rural location of earlier films, is one of the more intriguing aspects of this story.

Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o leads the cast, joined by Djimon Hounsou in an expansion of his role from A Quiet Place: Part II. Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Eliane Umuhire co-star. Based on the new poster and what we see in this footage, Quinn’s role looks very significant and like he’ll be sharing the most time with Nyong’o.

A Quiet Place: Day One hits theaters on June 28th.
