Noah Hawley’s ‘Alien’ Series Sets Sydney Chandler As First Cast Member

The Alien franchise is alive and well, with a big screen movie by Fede Alvarez on the way, along with an FX series from Fargo creator Noah Hawley. With shooting set to begin soon, the first actual casting news has arrived with the addition of Sydney Chandler.

THR haas the info on Sydney Chandler’s casting in Hawley’s Alien series. Chandler, the daughter of actor Kyle Chandler, can be seen in Olivia Wilde’s latest film, Don’t Worry Darling, her first feature film role. She also had a role in Danny Boyle’s Sex Pistols series, Pistol.

Hawley’s show is set prior to the events of 1979’s Alien and will be set on Earth. While details are limited, there’s a chance it centers on the men and women of evil corporation Weyland-Yutani whose obsession with Xenomorphs drives the franchise.
