‘Unstoppable’: Jennifer Lopez And Jharrel Jerrome To Star In Wrestler Biopic From Ben Affleck & Matt Damon

It’s the Gigli reunion nobody asked for! Twenty years after that flop hit theaters, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are reteaming for Unstoppable, a sports biopic from Affleck and Matt Damon’s new banner, Artists Equity.

Deadline reports that Artists Equity is in talks with Amazon to team up on Unstoppable, a film about one-legged wrestler Anthony Robles. Robles, who was born with only one leg, is a three-time All-American wrestler and winner of a national championship while at Arizona State.

Jharrel Jerrome, the Emmy-winning actor known for Moonlight and When They See Us, is set to play Robles, who will be heavily involved in the making of the film.

Amazon Studios is in talks to acquire Unstoppable, which would mark their second major project with the label. The first, Air, recently debuted to glowing reviews at SXSW and will open in theaters next month.
