Broken Lizard. If you know the comedy troupe behind Super Troopers, Club Dread, and Beerfest, chances are you already know whether you’re into them or not. They have a large, dedicated fanbase who await their upcoming projects, and for them, let’s hope they have Hulu because that’s where their new hunchback comedy, Quasi, is set to debut.
The entire Broken Lizard gang is here- director/actor Jay Chandrasekhar and writers/actors Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske, joined by The Orville actress Adrianne Palicki, for a goofy rom-com twist on The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Here’s the synopsis: A hapless hunchback yearns for love but finds himself in the middle of a murderous feud between the Pope and the king of France when each orders the hunchback to kill the other.
Quasi hits Hulu, when else, on April 20th. Smoke ’em if you got ’em.
