Amy Adams To Star In ‘Love Of My Life’ TV Series Adaptation

Amy Adams is headed back to TV, four years after her acclaimed performance in HBO’s Sharper Objects. Deadline reports that Adams will produce and star in a tv series adaptation of Rosie Walsh’s bestselling book, Love of My Life.

The story centers on “marine biologist Emma, whose obituary writer husband Leo researches everything about his wife’s life, which is a lie, when she suffers a serious illness.”

Adams was most recently seen in the Disney sequel, Disenchanted, as well as Dear Evan Hansen. She also starred in 2020’s Hillbilly Elegy, and last year’s The Woman in the Window.

This is pretty early, but one has to think that networks will swoop on this with Adams so deeply involved.
