D23: ‘Tales Of The Jedi’ Trailer Reveals Animated Series Following Ahsoka Tano And Count Dooku’s Journeys

With so many Star Wars projects coming up from Lucasfilm, it’s easy to overlook the animated anthology, Tales of the Jedi. But perhaps it’s time for that to change, because the new trailer released at D23 looks amazing. And for those familiar with the titular Legends comics, it’ll be interesting to see how these stories can be made new for Disney+

The series will comprise of six animated shorts, three focusing on Ahsoka Tano and three on Count Dooku.  Their experiences, which parallel one another in a major way in that they both grow disenchanted with the Jedi Order, will be charted across different times in their lives. Liam Neeson returns as the voice of Dooku’s apprentice, Qui-Gon Jinn. We also get to see Ahsoka’s life before she became part of the Jedi Order, and of course, her time training under the tutelage of Anakin Skywalker. Ashley Eckstein returns to voice Ahsoka, so sorry for those of you hoping for Rosario Dawson. She’s a bit busy playing the live-action version of Ahsoka.

Tales of the Jedi will hit Disney+ soon on October 26th will six episodes.
