‘The Witcher’ Season 2 Trailer: Henry Cavill Is Back As Geralt Of Rivia In Netflix’s Hit Series

Following Netflix’s announcement of The Witcher season two’s arrival on December 17th, the first legit trailer has been released. Fans of the show have been teased with brief promos for weeks, but now they’re getting a real look at what’s next for the sword-swinging Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) and Cira (Freya Allen) now that they’ve finally crossed paths.

It took an entire season for them to come together, but now that Geralt and Cira are walking the same path, they’ll head to Kaer Morhen where she will get the same witcher training that he did. This was Geralt’s destiny all along, but based on this footage it won’t play out quite as he thought.

Anya Chalotra returns as Yennifer, along with Joey Batey, MyAnna Buring, Lars Mikkelson, Royce Pierson, Mimi Ndiweni, Terence Maynard, Wilson Radjou-Pujlate, Lilly Cooper, Anna Schaffer, and Jeremy Crawford. A major new addition to the cast is the former Tormund Giantsbane, Kristofer Hiuju, as Nivellen.
