Seven More ‘Kingsman’ Sequels Could Be Coming, Because Why Not?

With two successful Kingsman films already out there, Matthew Vaughn has his sights set on big franchise. How big? Well, how does seven more sequels sound to you?

Following the combined $800M+ of Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, a prequel titled The King’s Man is due to open…well, sometime. Actually, it’s set for next February, following multiple delays due to COVID-19, and might get delayed again before Disney/Fox decide what to do with it. After that, we know Vaughn has plans for another film that will wrap-up the Harry Hart/Eggsy story with Taron Egerton and Colin Firth.

According to Zygi Kamasa, CEO of Vaughn’s production banner Marv Group, the plan is for “something like seven more Kingsman films” to the growing franchise. That’s just ridiculous.

“We want to grow the business and the output,” Kamasa added. “We have a ‘Kingsman’ TV series in the works and there are two-three other franchises that are being developed alongside the ‘Kingsman’ world.”

So the TV series has been talked about before, and so has Vaughn’s interest in a further exploration of the Kingsman universe. That would include a possible Statesman spinoff, featuring Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges, and other characters from The Golden Circle.

But do we really need SEVEN more of these things? I guess if James Bond can have two dozen movies, why can’t Kingsman? [Deadline]
